The ECE London studio is seeking a talented and motivated Part 2 Architectural Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a varied range of projects across multiple sectors and develop your architectural career within a supportive and progressive practice.
Position overview
As a Part 2 Architectural Assistant at ECE Architecture, you will support the design and delivery of projects across the residential, education, commercial and mixed-use sectors. You will gain experience across a range of project stages while working alongside experienced architects and consultants.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting senior members of the team in the development of design concepts and presentations.
- Preparing drawings, models and visual material to effectively communicate design ideas.
- Working within Revit to support the development and coordination of project information.
- Collaborating with consultants, contractors and clients to support the smooth delivery of projects.
- Participating in site visits and construction inspections to gain practical experience.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends, regulations and best practice.

Essential qualifications and experience
To be considered for this position, you should meet the following criteria:
- Have completed your Masters in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- Have 1+ year of UK practice experience working on architectural projects.
- Working knowledge of Revit within practice is desirable but not essential.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
- Strong conceptual and design skills, with the ability to think creatively and critically.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.
- A keen interest in sustainable design and the creation of environmentally responsible buildings.
- A portfolio demonstrating your design abilities and technical skills.

Studio
ECE London is a dynamic studio located in the heart of the city, providing a vibrant and collaborative work environment. The studio is situated near the South Bank with several mainline railway stations including Waterloo, Blackfriars, and London Bridge within walking distance. Southwark and Borough tube stations are also conveniently situated nearby.
Our London studio is arranged over two floors; the ground floor entrance is accessible from street level without steps. We provide two accessible mixed-sex toilet facilities on-site.
