A cornerstone of our practice’s history, Tony’s architectural journey began in 1972 when he joined the Worthing office of London-based Fewster and Gamble after training at colleges in Brighton and Chichester. His career progression saw him become an equity partner at Gamble Cook and Warner in 1975, before co-founding Michael Cook Associates in 1991 alongside three other partners.
In 2004, Tony took on the role of Chairman of ECE Architecture, working closely with Managing Director Stuart Eatock to guide the practice’s management, promotion, and strategic direction. His leadership included overseeing project control on major developments, helping to establish the strong foundations that continue to drive our success today.
Now in his Consultant role based in our Sussex office, Tony brings decades of construction industry knowledge gained through extensive experience across new build and refurbishment projects. His expertise spans commercial, industrial, residential, retail, and leisure sectors, with particular strength in leading large-scale projects from conception to completion.
