Introduction
ECE Planning is preparing a full planning application for the redevelopment of the Former Synagogue at 79 Holland Road, Hove. The proposals seek to deliver seven residential townhouses with associated car parking.
We are inviting feedback from the local community, including residents, businesses, and other stakeholders, on the proposed redevelopment ahead of submitting a planning application to Brighton & Hove City Council.

All comments received will be collated and submitted to Brighton & Hove City Council as part of the planning application and will be publicly available. In accordance with GDPR requirements, personal details will not be disclosed and are collected solely to allow us to validate responses. Anonymous submissions cannot be considered. Once the consultation process has concluded and responses have been collated, original comments will be securely destroyed.
Please note that this consultation forms part of an initial, non-statutory exhibition to inform the community of the emerging proposals and to seek early feedback. A further opportunity to comment will be available during the formal statutory consultation period once the planning application has been submitted, via the Council’s website.
