Matthew is a Senior Planner at ECE Planning, joining the team in 2026 after seven years of experience at Portsmouth City Coucnil. As a Chartered Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute (MRTPI), Matthew brings a strong professional grounding and a comprehensive understanding of development management.
Matthew holds a master’s degree in Planning from the University of Brighton, where he developed expertise in spatial planning, sustainable development, and the application of planning legislation. His public sector background provided him with extensive experience managing a wide spectrum of planning applications, including residential, commercial, and community based proposals.
In his role at ECE Planning, Matthew supports the delivery of projects across multiple sectors, drawing on his detailed knowledge of local authority processes to navigate complex planning issues with confidence.
As he establishes himself within ECE Planning, Matthew continues to expand his technical expertise while playing a valuable role in delivering the practice’s growing portfolio of development projects.
