Westworks is seeking a motivated and ambitious Architectural Technologist to work as part of our Technical team on a range of projects varying in size and complexity.
Position overview
As an Architectural Technologist at Westworks, you will have the opportunity to take a pivotal role in leading the delivery on a range of medium to largescale projects from RIBA stage 4 onwards.
We are seeking an individual with client facing experience in medium to large-scale residential projects, including mixed-use developments.

Essential qualifications and experience
- 7+ years UK experience post qualification.
- Strong technical skills gained on a range of medium to large scale projects (experience in residential and mixed use is highly beneficial).
- Excellent AutoCAD and IT (Microsoft Office) skills.
- Current working knowledge of Autodesk Revit is essential.
- Understanding of the current Building Regulations, NHBC/ LABC Warranty Guidance and
Associated Housing Standards. - Have experience of effectively leading project teams and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Be able to demonstrate an ability to prepare detailed working drawing packages (plans, sections, elevations, schedule and details).
- Be capable of coordinating a drawing package in conjunction with the other design consultants.
- Be able to lead with initiative and exceptional communication skills, whilst still allowing for autonomous work.
- Extensive technical proficiency acquired across a diverse range of projects, preferably encompassing a value of $5m or more.
- Proven track record in overseeing projects through RIBA Stages 4, 5, and 6, particularly within the residential and commercial sectors.
- Demonstration of advanced technical detailing abilities, accompanied by an adept understanding of contemporary construction methodologies.
