Centurion Way West Dean Link

Introduction

The South Downs National Park, working with ECE Planning and Project Centre, are bringing forward proposals for enhancements to the Centurion Way recreational shared-use path in the vicinity of West Dean.

Our aim is to upgrade and enhance the existing permissive path between West Dean School and Singleton Station, improving accessibility and the general experiencing for those using the path.

We want local insight to genuinely inform these proposals, and are hosting a Public Exhibition to share our thinking and gain your views as we shape how the proposal evolves. Come along to the event to discuss the proposals with the project team.

The Consultation Process

Following Pre Application discussions with the South Downs National Park’s Planning Department earlier this year, we are now seeking views from the local community, users, and stakeholders.

Our objective is to gain local insight to genuinely inform the implementation of this section of Centurion Way. We are sharing these details now so that the community has the opportunity to understand our intentions and contribute their views at this crucial stage of the project.
