Reimagining ECE Architecture

Over the past decade, ECE Architecture has grown into something far greater than the small team that started out in 2011. Today, more than 70 of us work across our three studios in Worthing, London, and Bristol. We’ve delivered award-winning projects across education, residential, commercial, and urban living – and yet, until now, our brand hasn’t always reflected the scale of our ambition or the quality of the work we are delivering.

That’s why we’ve rebranded. This isn’t just about a refreshed logo or a new typeface; it’s about alignment. We’ve reached a point where our identity needed to match the practice we have become. This rebrand allows us to communicate with clarity, confidence, and purpose – just as we approach our projects.

Who we are today

What makes ECE Architecture different is the blend of creativity and technical certainty that we offer. We are a design practice, yes, but we also have a dedicated team of architectural technologists whose expertise ensures our ideas are grounded in reality. We can take a project from the earliest seed of an idea all the way to delivery on site, remaining fully invested at every stage.

The challenges clients bring to us are rarely simple: colleges seeking to expand capacity within tight budgets, developers tackling the complexities of dense urban sites, or housing associations aiming for high-quality community living at scale. We thrive in this space. Our role is to unlock possibility, connect ambition with deliverability, and add lasting value for everyone involved.

Strength as part of the ECE Group

We are proudly independent, but as part of ECE Group, we benefit from the strength of a wider family of specialists. Our colleagues in ECE Planning, for instance, often add critical insight early in a project – ensuring permissions are secured, risks are reduced, and design decisions can be made with confidence. Similarly, we draw on the experience and expertise of Westworks for PBSA (purpose-built student accommodation) projects. These collaborations make us stronger, but without blurring the identity we have built as ECE Architecture.

Looking ahead

Rebranding marks an exciting moment, but it’s just the start. Over the next 12–24 months, I want us to build on this renewed clarity, to push forward with our regenerative approach: designing responsibly, contributing to healthier communities, and proving that architecture can have both creative and social impact.

We’ll continue to grow, not only in the projects we deliver, but also in the skills, confidence, and creativity of our people. And for our clients, the promise remains the same: a human, proactive, and technically assured partnership, from concept to completion.

This is ECE Architecture as it is today – bolder, clearer, and ready for what’s next.
