ECE Planning
ECE Planning secured full planning permission for the redevelopment of a central site in Haywards Heath, delivering 24 high-quality apartments and associated landscaping. Acting on behalf of Beacon Heights Developments, our team worked closely with ECE Architecture and a wider consultant group to bring forward a scheme that maximised the site’s potential within this highly sustainable town centre location.

The approved development replaces a dated building with a new four-storey structure, providing a balanced mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. The proposals respond positively to local housing need and contribute to the town’s regeneration through a contemporary design that complements its urban setting.

A key element of the scheme’s success was the integration of a carefully considered landscaping strategy, enhancing the public realm and providing residents with attractive shared amenity spaces. High quality materials and architectural detailing, including full-height glazing and a regular brickwork rhythm, ensure the development sits comfortably within the existing streetscape.
This project reflects ECE Planning’s ability to deliver complex urban residential schemes that align with policy priorities, design expectations, and community aspirations.
