ECE Planning
ECE Planning secured full planning permission for a landmark mixed-use development in Creekside, part of Lewisham’s thriving creative quarter. Located near Goldsmiths’ College and the Laban Dance Centre in Deptford, the scheme delivers a bold and design-led regeneration of a previously underutilised site.
The development includes the sensitive restoration of two retained industrial buildings, complemented by four new residential blocks ranging from six to twelve storeys. Together, these elements form a vibrant mixed-use community that integrates new homes and flexible workspace in a distinctive urban setting.

The scheme was brought forward on behalf of Workspace and L&Q Housing Association, with Workspace delivering a range of flexible office spaces designed to support local creative and start-up businesses. L&Q provide both affordable and market-rent homes, helping to meet local housing need and deliver tenure diversity in a highly sustainable location.

ECE Planning worked closely with the design team and local authority to ensure the scheme responded positively to site context, townscape sensitivities, and emerging policy, securing consent for a high-quality development that supports Lewisham’s cultural and economic growth.
